Situated on Tamborine Mountain, Mount Tamborine in the Gold Coast Hinterland, this cluster of galleries and craft shops provides a wealth of diverse art and craft including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, porcelain, glass, jewellery, woodwork, fabrics and much more.
From fine art to the frivolous, you will find something to suit all tastes and budgets in this fascinating precinct.
As you explore Gallery Walk enjoy coffee, light refreshments or a sumptuous lunch at one of the fine restaurants and cafes.
You will also discover a local winery's cellar door tasting room, an avocado farm tour and many other attractions.
Allow plenty of time for your visit because there is so much to see and do on Gallery Walk, but be sure to make time to see the natural beauty and other features of Tamborine Mountain, Mount Tamborine.
Wineries
There are many award winning wineries showcasing an amazing range of reds, whites, sparkling and liqueurs with cellar door tastings and sales, all made from fruits and produce grown on the properties.
Markets
There are two markets held on Tamborine Mountain. The largest market is run on the second Sunday of the month while the smaller market is run on the last Sunday of the month.
These markets have the usual "bits and bobs", organic fruit and vegetables, plants, spiritual and well-being products, paintings and many more interesting things for the home and garden.
Antiques
There is a wide variety of fine antique shops on Tamborine Mountain catering for all tastes and budgets. Give yourself a few days to explore them.
Getting There:
Amber Lodge is situated at Eagle Heights on Tamborine Mountain.
Take exit 57 off the Pacific Motorway and follow the road to Mount Tamborine (20km).
At the top go straight through the roundabout and Amber Lodge is the 3rd building on the left.
