The Stone House and the Cedar House are located high up on Springbrook Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland just 70 minutes from Brisbane and 30 minutes from the Gold Coast and Coolangatta Airport.

The Stone House

Room Information:

This spacious two bedroom house on three levels has a truly unique character.
Featuring imported slate design, a newly renovated kitchen and bathroom, two fireplaces, spa and shower, TV, stereo, additional hot outdoor shower opening into the rainforest, and private slate terrace with BBQ and views to the Gold Coast.
The middle level is a large entertainment area designed for you to socialise with those preparing meals.
The fireplace, sofas and coffee table are on this level, with a solid table to seat eight on the original antique church pews either side.
After dinner, you can move down to the lounge room and continue the night in front of the large open fire.
Price includes two adults and the cottage sleeps up to 6 people.

* All breakfast baskets are kept in the fridge ready for the morning to respect your privacy.

The Cedar House

The Cedar House is constructed from western red cedar with terracotta floor in the living and dining areas.
Handmade French tiles add to the country house feel.
Slow combustion fire place, microwave, washing machine and large deck are other features of this comfortable dwelling which has two bedrooms and sleeps 4 people.

Getting There:

From Brisbane (M1)
Take the Mudgeeraba turn-off at exit #79.
Follow the roundabout right back over the M1 which leads you onto Railway Street and through Mudgeeraba.
Take the next left at the roundabout, where you pass the 'Liquor Barn' and 'Franklins'.
Keep going straight on Springbrook Road (#99) and follow the signs up Springbrook Mountain (30km).
When you reach the top of the mountain, continue past Hardy's Lookout (400m) and turn right onto Repeater Station Road.
A little further on (approx. 800m) you will find Julie's Retreat.
